Here’s how it works
We start with a conversation in which you explain your project, your goals and your progress so far. I’ll ask lots of questions until I feel that I have a clear picture of what you would like to accomplish with your article or book, and how I might be able to help.
What do you need?
Next, we set our parameters. Do you need research? Do you need me to write your piece from your notes? Do you need me to reorganize your manuscript? Or is your manuscript or article only in need of editing help? After I take a look at your progress so far, or we discuss how we can work together to achieve your goal with the project, we finalize the scope of my work.
Never any surprises
In each phase of our work together, I check in with you for a review discussion to assure that we are always on the same page. If you have budget parameters, you will always be kept informed if we are approaching your budget ceiling for my time. At the start of our project, I’ll spell out explicitly what my services will encompass and how much they will cost.
Finished work that makes you proud
I truly enjoy creating my clients’ projects that fulfill the purpose and goals they envision. Whether you are writing a memoir or a business book, we will work together to make this a piece you will be proud of publishing in whatever form you choose.
And, there is never any question that you retain full ownership of the work.
